Bread Machine Oatmeal Bread

9 oz Milk, 90-100 degrees
2 1/2 cups Bread flour
1/2 cup Oats (quick or old-fashioned)
2 Tbsp Brown sugar, packed
1 1/2 Tsp Salt  
2 Tbsp Butter, or margarine
2 1/4 Tsp Active Dry Yeast OR
1 1/2 Tsp Bread Machine Yeast
   
   
   
Add liquid ingredients to pan.

Add dry ingredients, except yeast to pan. Tap pan to settle dry ingredients, then level ingredients, pushing some off the mixture into the corners. Place butter into corners of pan.

Make a well in center of dry ingredients; add yeast. Lock pan into bread maker.

Program for Basic/Specialty and desired crust color.
